Prepositions of time: in, on or at?

Problems with prepositions of time? Not any more! Follow these basic rules and you won´t make any mistakes.
- Utilizamos at para las horas y para ciertas expresiones:
at 8,30
at the weekend
at night
at Christmas
at the moment
- Usamos on para las fechas y los días:
on Saturday
on Saturday morning
on 25th October
on Monday evening
- Usamos in para períodos de tiempo más largos como meses, años y estaciones del año y para las partes del día (mañana, tarde, noche…)
in August
in 2012
in winter
in the sixteenth century
in the morning
in the afternoon
in the evening (at night)
- No hay preposición con: next, this, last o tomorrow
Did you watch TV last night?
It´s going to rain this weekend
See you next week
We are going out for dinner tomorrow night
